DEAR POTENTIAL PROGRAM PARTNER,

Each JCI Member shares the belief that in order to create lasting positive changes, we must improve ourselves and the world around us. We seek targeted solutions to the unique problems in our communities to build a better world, creating global impact.

Be Better embodies the spirit that all JCI members share and the purpose stated in our Mission: to create positive change. JCI members constantly seek ways to live this concept. PartnerShips are the best way to create positive change and impact.

Referring to our JCI Vison, Mission and Values we aim to set up an interesting and sustainable program for all target groups involving partners who personally give value to our conference: Sponsors, speakers, trainers, celebrities and others. All of them will contribute to the program having an impact. Our goal is to strengthen the values of PartnerShips in every aspect of life.

HABOR PROGRAM

The Conference Program will take place in the harbors we will be visiting during the cruise and on board the Cruise Ship.

The local JCI Harbor Teams are organizing the Harbor Program with their local partners, like companies, institutions and government in the respective cities. We have a program full of value and seek to create the most awesome experience for all participants and stakeholders.

ROSTOCK – HANSETIC LEAGUE

GOTHENBURG – SUSTAINABLE, CREATIVE & ACTIVE

Rostock is the culturally and economically most important city in the region. It is shaped by its position at the sea, a lively cosmopolitan cultural scene and the University of Rostock, which was founded in 1419 and is therefore the oldest university in the Baltic Sea region.

Following the example of the Hanseatic League we aim to focus on the importance of PartnerShips in Economy and trade between companies as well as between cities and countries.

Gothenburg is a small city from an international perspective, encircled by rocky shoreline, deep forests, tranquil lakes and the surging sea to the West. No other Swedish city gives such easy access to nature. Four centuries ago, when the decision was taken to build a harbor city on the west coast, the ambition was to open up Sweden to the outside world. Today, Gothenburg is a flourishing green city with a vibrant cultural scene, world-class restaurants and a fascinating history.

OSLO – NATURE, TECHNOLOGY & NORDIC CULTURE

COPENHAGEN – THE GREEN CAPITAL

The Norwegian city of Oslo is Europe’s fastest growing capital city, with over 661,000 inhabitants and is quite different from many other European cities. It combines captivating modern landmarks and a stylish new silhouette with a number of impressive buildings in the city’s historical districts of St. Hanshaugen and Frogner. In the center of Oslo you find the Nobel Peace Center, from which the Nobel Peace Prize is presented each December. With the diversity of its unique design and architecture, the vast array of cultural events and with exciting culinary experiences, Oslo is said to be everybody’s city.

Denmark’s capital city is located on the eastern coast of Zealand and is directly connected to Malmo in Sweden via Øresund Bridge. Founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen became Denmark’s capital city in the 15th century and is home to the world’s oldest monarchy with an extremely popular and modern royal family. With over 585,000 inhabitants, it is cosmopolitan and at the same time blessed with a small-town-feel. The city of Copenhagen has many museums, galleries and music venues and has lots of green areas, a harbor which is clean enough for swimming and a countless number of bikes.

ONBOARD PROGRAM

While members of the regional JCI chapters will be leading the program in their respective cities and regions for many of the participants, the program on board continues.

The Ship Team is organizing the official and mandatory JCI Conference Program (all “standard” conference elements like Opening & Closing Ceremony, General Assembly, JCI Morning Show, Trainings, Academies, Competitions, Receptions) as well as leisure, a special Kids and JCI Senators Program.

WELCOME: ALL IN ONE BOAT

By the very nature of the venue and the destinations abroad, our conference will deliver a unique experience. We begin as early as 11.00 AM on board when check-in opens.

Our guests may embark on the ship immediately or could choose to drop off bags only and explore the many beautiful surrounding within walking distance in the port of Warnemünde. Some first program items are provided like excursions, sightseeing, first timer meeting or trainings.

Before we start our cruise we have to complete the sea rescue exercise. The best way to join the departure is from the sun deck. After the safety procedure we start with our program like receptions, meetings and the Opening Ceremony including dinner as well as the after party.

Let us discuss and explore the present and future of Rostock, Warnemünde, AIDA!

VISION: PARTNERSHIPS FOR OUR FUTURE

MISSION: DIGITALIZATION & NEW WORK

Our thematic focus for the 2021 JCI European Conference Cruise is “Partnerships for our Future”. Without partnerships and collaborations, mankind would not achieve anything. No matter whether you look at business, countries or cities, it is in our very human nature to engage in partnerships.

Because of this organizations turn to partnerships with many stakeholder to meet challenges that they cannot handle alone, like complex issues and problems, such as health care delivery, poverty, human rights, watershed management, education, sustainability and innovation.

Let us discuss and explore the importance, opportunities and (sustainable) impact of PartnerShips!

Digitalization is on everyone’s mind and we are genuinely experiencing a technological transformation. It is happening in our private world, in the way we communicate, provide and consume products and services. In our nowadays economy disruption is the name of the game. It is revolutionizing business models, redrawing the boundaries between industries and creating new interfaces to the customer. Digitalization leads to structural changes in our economy and it is also impacting the way we work together. Headlines like New Work 4.0, Leadership 4.0 or “On the way to Organization 4.0” are similar terms and can be red in nearly all media outlets. There is a fine line between buzzword and disruptive concept.

Let us discuss and explore digital transformation as well as the perspective of personal skills, leadership and organizational development!

VALUE: IMPACT & SUSTAINABILITY

To successfully create sustainable impact in a dynamic world, an organization must be guided by its principles. Practices, strategies and structures may evolve over time, but this core philosophy remains. Guided by our core philosophy, we are empowered to create sustainable impact. Sustainability is an integral part of our vision and values. Our value-based efforts reflecting the UN Sustainable Development Goals are conducted to support growth, develop sustainable products and services, foster a culture and mindset of sustainability, empower people to develop themselves and society, expand engagement with our stakeholders on environmental issues, increases the scale of sustainable impact.

Let us discuss and explore how we can empower people and how our values lead into positive and sustainable change!
