Day 5: Rostock
GERMANY’S LARGEST CRUISE PORT
Rostock has about 205,000 inhabitants, making it the largest city in the region in terms of population.The eastern part of the city is distinguished by its international port, commercial sites and the Rostock Heath Forest. The city has a Baltic Sea port, Warnemünde, which is important for ferry traffic and cargo handling and boasts Germany’s largest cruise port with more than 200 visiting cruise ships per year.
The tour “City Wall Run” leads along the old city fortification and makes regular excursions into the city center. We walk past the still existing city gates, admire the churches of the city center and the historic center and get an impression of the colourful bustle of Rostock. With the City Wall Run you will walk through the highlights of Rostock. You will learn a lot of interesting facts from the city’s history and learn, for example, about the Rostock “7”.
Company Visit Rostock Brewery
Experience the Hanseatic Brewery Rostock. Since 1878 excellent beers have been produced here in the middle of Rostock. Learn a lot of interesting facts about beer production and enjoy a real ROSTOCKER beer at the end!
Golf Course Warnemünde
The green on the Warnemünde golf course offers a 27-hole course and a 6-hole short course. Our participants can take part in a trial course and immerse themselves in the world of golf.
